Mailman’s Daily Interaction With German Shepherd Gets Caught On Film
His owner says people judge his dog to be dangerous or unapproachable just because of his breed and size.

Beware of dog.

He will attack. And by attack, we mean attack with love. Lots and lots of love.

See, Kyza is a nine month old German Shepherd. A big one at that. Knowing how people are, they will automatically portray a big, intimidating dog as “dangerous”, judging by its looks. Can’t really blame them but… Read the book and not just the cover, please.

If anything, Kyza is the entire opposite of what his neighborhood status is. This big, fluffy German Shepherd just wants to get along with his neighbors and who better to start with than the local mailman.

This handsome boy rarely barks and perhaps it’s that mysterious aloofness that GSDs are known for that made him out to be “dangerous”. Well Kyza is out to prove he’s not! Now where’s that mailman?

Here he comes!

His name is Steve. He doesn’t know he’s being filmed by Kyza’s owner, Michael. See even though he doesn’t have any mail to deliver, Steve makes it a point to ride by Kyza’s house to have a little one on one time with his new buddy.

It’s always a good time to ride out when you’re visiting a big happy dog. Doesn’t matter if it’s raining too. Steve and Kyza have developed such an awesome friendship that it’s made rounds on the internet!

Check out how Kyza waits by the corner of the gate.

He lazes around a bit but when he hears Steve arrive, he immediately stands and props himself up on the gate so Steve can easily reach him. His big bushy tail swings back and forth in obvious joy as he greets his mailman friend.

Kyza is so gentle!

He bows his head, stays still and just lets Steve rub his back for a good few seconds. After getting his fill of rubs, he lifts his head and gives Steve a few kisses which the man gratefully accepts.

They exchange lots of affection in broad daylight, Steve not even bothering to remove his helmet in the New Zealand heat.

“I’m surprised that dog stays in the yard with such a short fence. This video is adorable though.”

Observed a viewer. That’s because this Shepherd is a very good boy!

Steve and Kyza trade a few more hugs and kisses before he lets go of the cuddly German Shepherd and says goodbye. He hops back on his bike and with a final look at his best bud, Steve pedals off into the sun. He’ll be back for sure!

Hidden cam delights!

Michael even wrote on Facebook saying,

“I’m not sure who to tag on Facebook for him to see this. But thanks man, keep up the good job and you’ve definitely got a friend waiting for ya!”

Who wouldn’t want to drop by everyday to share a few moments with a beautiful dog who likes the visits anyway?!
